Two Passengers Murdered At Cruise Ship Dock In Toronto, Ontario
Father's Day weekend cruise ship violence runs from Seattle, Washington all the way to Toronto, Ontario with two men dead after being stabbed to death at a cruise ship dock located at 242 Cherry Street, in Toronto at 0145 hours.
The Enterprise 2000 boat had docked with about 200 passengers on board, investigators say. Aboard, a a disagreement between passengers escalated and two men died as a result of their injuries.
The two men were identified as Andy James, 26, and Brandon Ramdeen, 27.
James then Ramdeen were stabbed. James was taken to an area hospital by friends where he later died. Ramdeen was taken to the hospital by ambulance and too later died.
Edwin Modeste, 37 has been charged with second-degree murder in connection James' murder and Kimron Bengy, 19, was charged with Ramdeen's murder. Both men are from Toronto.
The 140-foot-long Enterprise 2000 is owned and operated by Olympia Cruise Lines Ltd. She carries up to 475 passengers.
