Cruise Ship Trapped In Ice

Over 300 passengers aboard the CTMA Vancancier are not sailing anywhere, effectively docked in ice while the weather outside is a frigid
-40 Celsius / Fahrenheit. For those who don't know, Celsius and Fahrenheit meet at -40 and are one and the same at that temperature.

The cruise ship has been stuck in an ice flow that closed in around it, and made sailing impossible while the ship was sailing in the St. Lawrence River near Matane, Quebec in Canada.
The cruise ship, the ferry Camille Marcoux, the cargo ship George Alexandre Lebel and another cargo ship have been stuck in the ice,
with only the ferry able to get free.

Only the Casmille Marcoux has been freed so far, with the assistance of the Canadian Coast Guard ice breaking vessel Terry Fox.
