Male Passenger Gets Airlift Off Carnival Fantasy To Alabama
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) medevaced a male passenger aboard the Carnival Cruise Lines' Fantasy while she was in the Gulf Mexico last week returning to New Orleans from a voyage to the Western Caribbean.
The 63-year-old man was complaining of chest pains prior to being airlifted by an HH-60 USCG helicopter around 1331 hours on March 29, 2009 while Fantasy was 275 miles south of Dauphin Island, Alabama.
The passenger was taken to the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
