Crew Member Evacuated From Carnival Legend

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) evacuated a female crew member from the Carnival Cruise Lines' Legend today.

The lady crew member, 29, had a serious head injury that was reported to the USCG around 1200 hours. She was evacuated by a USCG  HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from the USCG Air Station in Clearwater, Florida around 1720 hours while the Legend was 290 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida.
