Cruise Bruise: Pedophiles Arrested
Bruise Location: Noumea, New Caledonia
Age:  40 & 42
Home Town: Perth, Australia
Cruise Line: P & O Cruises
Ship: Pacific Dawn
Details:

Two men, one age 40 the other age 42,  already convicted as sex offenders of children, and likely to re-offend according to officials in Australia who placed them on a sex offenders registry, didn't make it past customs officials in Noumea.

They arrived in New Caledonia on a P & O Cruise Ship, after skillfully avoiding detection were nailed when they arrived in Noumea.
Police there said they were found to be on a blacklist that police had, and were not allowed to disembark. They instead left the ship under police guard in front of passengers, and were skirted away to be flown home.

The two Australian perverts, both from Perth, were onboard a P & O Cruises Pacific Dawn, which arrived in Noumea yesterday, November 12, 2007.

Police in Noumea said that they have been the subject of a "procedure" on the non Caledonian territory and were placed in the waiting area at La Tontouta at 11:35am for departure from the island.

Neither man had reported their intention to leave Australia to the local authorities there. Of course if they had, they would have been denied. So, instead they chose to attempt a convert departure.

Last month the good people of New Caledonia nailed another pervert convicted of multiple child sexual assaults, arrested him, and sent him back to Australia. There seems to be a trend in pedophiles cruises away from Australia undetected, or perhaps just now being caught.

It is feared that men go to New Caledonia where they are not known, with re-offending in mind.

It seems surprising that this has happened twice in such a short time. Perhaps police need to look deeper in to this to find out how these men know they can board a cruise ship without detection, and why suddenly they are drawn to Noumea.
